Waterland Fishing is the brainchild of Gordon Howes, specialising in Guided Predator and Pike Fishing throughout the fenland rivers of Cambridgeshire and the Anglian reservoirs.
With over 20 years experience of predator fishing throughout Ely and the Fens, Cambridge and surrounding areas, the Broads and the River Severn, and local reservoirs, Gordon’s reputation has now been recognised, with sponsorship being provided by FOX.
Gordon’s skills and knowledge of predator fishing in Cambridgeshire, Waterland Fishing is fast becoming respected throughout the industry for providing a high quality pike and zander fishing experience.
Setting sail from either the historic town centre of Ely, or Denver sluice, near Downham market, or onto the River Cam at the Fish and duck Marina, the day comprises of a mixture of bait and lure fishing with all methods employed. With Jigging, trolling, drop shotting on the menu you’re guaranteed to learn something from the day and you may even catch a few fish! Gordon is the only guide to have a client win a Drennan weekly award from the Angling Times, for a massive 16lb zander from the Relief Channel near Denver.
From September through to December fishing on the Anglian Reservoirs, Rutland and Grafham is also available. Gordon has caught many fish from these venues, pike to 25lb and zander to 15lb! and has extensive knowledge of fish holding areas in addition to the methods needed to catch them!

All prices include all bait, lures, tackle etc. Prices based on an eight hour day. Times are flexible though and we can arrange timings to suit you.
